• Twice weekly classes - choose a “Class Pass” to attend 4, 5, 6, or 7 classes of your choosing.

First Notes Music offers Music Together® family classes for children ages 0-5 years along with a parent or caregiver (multiple siblings welcome). Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes and are offered in 8-10-week sessions. (Due to the flexibility needed for families in Summer, Summer schedules will vary!)

Each week in Music Together Mixed-Age Classes at First Notes Music, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and the grownups who love them® gather for 45 minutes of fun-filled family music time. Your teacher will lead you and the other families in music activities ranging from lullabies to full-on jam sessions (with child-friendly instruments, of course!). It’s so much fun you won’t realize how much learning is taking place! You’ll take home the award-winning music used in class, along with an illustrated songbook and other resources. As you discover new ways to play with music all week long, you’ll be supporting your child’s music-learning and overall development—even if you don’t think of yourself as a great singer or dancer.

Why mixed ages? Child development researchers discovered that grouping children of different ages in one class encourages natural, family-style learning, so Music Together developed the Mixed-Age Music Class. In this class, everyone participates at their own levels: babies vocalize, listen, and observe; toddlers play and experiment; and preschoolers build confidence as they emerge as classroom leaders. Grownups are happy because everyone can come to class together!

• 4 Class Pass: $88 ($22 per class)

• 5 Class Pass: $105 ($21 per class)

• 6 Class Pass: $120 ($20 per class)

• 7 Class Pass: $133 ($19 per class)

• Your first sibling is an additional $50. Additional siblings are FREE!

• Infants eight months and younger at the start of the session are also free with a registered sibling.

• Siblings 6 years and older may also attend for free with a registered sibling.

Spring 2024 Tuition:

• One Child: $160

• Two or more children: $240

• Infants eight months and younger at the start of the session are also free with a registered sibling.

Additional Tuition Details:

Tuition includes a $25 non-refundable registration fee per family. This registration fee, due at the time of registration, secures your family’s spot for the session. The remainder of the tuition is due by the first day of class. Tuition can be paid by cash or check, online via credit/debit, Venmo, or PayPal.

Tuition for each session includes all classes in the session, a beautifully designed songbook and CD of the music for that session to take home and play throughout the week; a personal code to download or stream the songs to your devices via the free Music Together app; and access to the online “Family Zone®”, where you can also download all the music digitally, explore fun games and videos, and discover musical activities to do with your child at home! You'll also receive additional materials during the session to support your knowledge of your growing child and their development.
